Leo Miner is a singer/songwriter born on December 4th, 1990 in Hamlin, Germany, as Leonard Bergmann. His music and songs are characterized by an honest, unique style, influenced by Rock, Folk and Blues music, no matter whether he plays with his band or by himself.
At the age of 8 he began to play piano and a little later guitar. His father’s musical tastes had an effect on his music already at an early age.. His main influences are the music of Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. During his entire school days, he played in various school bands, developing a fascinating voice, that thrilled his schoolmates and teachers as well.
In the years after 2010 he played in various bands of Bob Dulas on keyboard and as background singer and it was not long before he had his own fan community.
In 2013 he formed his own band called ‘Ringstreet’. As front man and lead singer he started playing his own songs.
Since 2016 Leo plays with his new band ‘The Leo Miner and Band’ in bars, pubs, clubs and at street festivals. At the end of that year he released his first CD ‘Run Down’. This CD contains only his own music and he also plays all instruments by himself.
On Christmas 2016 he took over the annual concert series at the ‘Sumpfblume’ from Hamlin’s rock and blues legend Bob Dulas.
At the beginning of 2018 his second CD ‘Into the Wild’ was published, again with his own songs and music and all instruments played by himself.
